1. Acceptance of the terms

By accessing or using Liftter, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Description of the service

Liftter is a software platform that lets personal trainers build workout and nutrition plans, manage clients, schedule sessions, receive payments and promote their services on a public marketplace. Clients can find and book sessions with trainers.

3. Accounts and eligibility

To use certain features you must create an account and provide true and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform for unlawful purposes, not to publish false or offensive content or content that violates third-party rights, and not to attempt to compromise the security or operation of the service.

5. Payments and fees

Payments between clients and trainers are processed through Stripe. On services with payments enabled, the Liftter fee (3%) and Stripe fees (1.5% + €0.25 per transaction) apply. For clients, using the platform is free.

6. Marketplace and relationship between users

Liftter acts as a technological intermediary between trainers and clients. Training services are provided directly by the personal trainers, who are solely responsible for their quality, legality and delivery.

7. Intellectual property

The Liftter brand, software and content are the property of Liftter or its licensors. The content you upload remains yours, but you grant us a license to host and display it on the platform.

8. Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Liftter is not liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the service or from the relationship between trainers and clients.

10. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of relevant changes, and continued use implies acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction over any dispute.
